The Idea
The secret is 'off-board' innovation.
Standard rangehoods rely on an internal, on-board motor sitting just inches from your ears. Parex and Amoré completely flip this design. Utilising an off-board system, the main motor is moved entirely outside the living space, installed seamlessly into the roof eave, wall, or exterior ceiling.
Connected by specialised flexible ducting, the internal hood acts as a sleek intake vent while the external motor handles the heavy lifting away from your living space.

Moving a motor outside requires a system capable of handling environmental changes while maintaining flawless, continuous performance. That is why the Parex and Amoré partnership uses custom, German-made ebm papst EX-Drive motors.
Founded in 1963, ebm papst is globally renowned for inventing external-rotor technology and pioneering ultra-efficient EC (electronically commutated) digital drives. When you choose a Parex-backed Amoré system, you are installing an industrial-grade powertrain capable of moving up to 3,200 cubic metres of air per hour, engineered by the same brand that manages airflow for precision global data centres and aerospace systems.
Three sizes, matched to how you actually cook. Each number is the motor’s maximum extraction rate in cubic metres of air moved per hour. The 900 for normal cooking, the 1600 for heavy cooking, the 3200 for extreme. Every motor works with every hood.

Every Amoré system ships from our own Auckland warehouse, run by our own logistics team. Our customer support and technical specialists work on-site in the same building, so answers come from the people who know the product, not a call centre reading a script.
